Lee Wilkinson

I am a sports therapist / Sports massage therapist graduating from Active Health Group in Manchester and hold a L5 Diploma in Advanced Clinical Sports Therapy & Remedial Therapy qualification dealing with all musculoskeletal issues.

I am a full member of the Sports Therapy Organisation as well as the Sports Massage Association and a member of the CNHC too.

Having treated many runners and athletes from all backgrounds and abilities. I have an extensive knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and Bio-mechanics and movement patterns of the body to help treat all kinds of injuries that may occur.

As a keen runner myself, having completed many road races and marathons over the years, Fell and Trail running became my passion. Completing my first 100 mile race in October 2016, as well as the Brathay 10in10 back in October 2020, 10 marathons in 10 days around lake Windermere. So knowing how to keep my body and mind fit and healthy has helped me both as a runner but more importantly as a sports therapist.

I am also a run coach, where I help, plan and support lots of other runners through their weekly training, to help them achieve their goals and targets. Being a sports therapist and keen runner, greatly helps me when coaching and something I’m very passionate about.
